The boutique (ex)bags, located at Malaya Bronnaya 21/13, building 1 in Moscow, is a space that explores and visualizes the life cycle of luxury bags. The interior of the boutique is inspired by factories and archives, allowing for a deeper understanding of the creation and transformation processes of these accessories.
The central element of the interior is a rotating stela, symbolizing conveyor production. The stela slowly rotates, showcasing the bags from different angles, as if they are going through the stages of production and quality control. The use of machine mechanism details emphasizes the technological aspect of creating each bag.
An island in the form of a composition of compactly arranged bags embodies the process of purchasing and using. Each block of the island represents a separate bag, highlighting the diversity of the assortment.
Behind the island is a panel reminiscent of archive cabinets. Each cabinet contains a bag presented under its own number, similar to a real depository. This creates a sense of value for the products and hints at their history and status as cult items.
The interior of the boutique (ex)bags combines elements of industrial design and refined luxury. The use of materials reminiscent of manufacturing processes — metal, glass, wood — is paired with soft textures and colors, creating a harmonious space. Each element of the interior resonates with others, forming a cohesive concept that immerses visitors in the world of luxury bags.
The boutique (ex)bags is not just a store; it is an art installation that tells the story of each bag — from its birth in the factory to the moment it receives a second life with a new owner
