Concept
For the studio, this is the second collaborative project with ALROSA Diamonds. In the first one—a boutique on Petrovka Street—the starting point was the geology of diamond deposits: seven layers of different marble varieties recreated a cross-section of the earth’s crust where natural diamonds are formed.

In the new space, the studio turned to Yakutian geography. The inspiration came from archipelagos—groups of islands united by a common origin but differing in shape and terrain. This imagery formed the basis of the boutique’s spatial organization.

Spatial Structure
The core planning solution consists of freestanding furniture modules of arbitrary organic form. Arranged throughout the hall, they create a system of «islands,» between which visitors can chart their own paths. Horizontal ribs of dark material form a layered, textured base; the rims are veneered in American walnut, while the tabletops are made of three types of onyx (Pistacchio, Miele, Verde) and Rain Forest Green marble. American walnut veneer was also used in the Petrovka boutique—giving both projects a shared material vocabulary.

The carpet features a pattern of concentric circles radiating from the bases of the furniture islands and echoing their contours. Dark blue zones frame each island; the grey-blue gaps between them form a pattern that reveals the hall’s layout.

The walls and ceiling are painted in a cool bluish-grey hue. Pendant lights fan out, reinforcing this geometry. Mirrored surfaces multiply the space many times over in depth.

VIP Area
The VIP room is a regular octagon, referencing the cross-section of a cut diamond. The space is fully clad in American walnut veneer, whose warm texture contrasts with the cool palette of the main hall.
